About us

I have lived in the north shore area my whole life, I grew up here and am now raising my children here. Many of the homes in this area are over 75 five years old, I am currently living in a 80 year old home and while these old homes have character and charm they have many areas that require special attention during an inspection.

What you can expect

I spend on average three to four hours on site looking inside out, top to bottom. I inspect the entire structure and systems, and explain and go over them with you during the inspection. You not only get a home inspection but you get to know your new home and how to maintain and use all the systems and appliances. You will get a very comprehensive and thorough report.

My inspection philosophy

I believe you deserve the best inspection the industry has to offer, and that is what I will provide. Most of my clients are referrals from past inspections. I will not be easy on a home because a realtor's commission is on the line, I work for you and you alone. I may be tough on homes, but it gives you the information to make a intelligent decision as to whether this is the home for you. I have a 100 percent satisfaction rating, and I plan to keep it that way.

Training

The state of Illinois requires 12 hours of education per license renewal cycle. I go well above and beyond that requirement. I have attended structure and foundation, plumbing, electrical and roofing seminars, Nicor safety courses, mold and advanced mold training courses. I attend as many training and education courses as my schedule and family responsibilities allow.
